Vogtsbauernhöfe open-air museum

During your tour of the Black Forest Vogtsbauernhöfe open-air museum you will be confronted with 400 years of history. Visit the many houses in the museum and experience daily life of the earlier Black Forest inhabitants. Discover how kitchens, lounges and chambers were furnished.

Arrival

Take the B31 from Kirchzarten to Freiburg, on the Schwabentorring until the Leopoldring. Turn right onto the Habsburgerstraße/B3. Stay on the B3 until the exit B294 in the direction of Waldkirch/Elzach. Follow the L107 to Elzach (direction of Oberprechtal) until the B33/E531. Drive on to Gutach. Distance approx. 55km. Alternatively, via Stegen - St. Peter - Glottertal (or optionally via Kandel) until B294 in direction of Waldkirch /Elzach. From the B294 follow the description above.
